CWDL is thrilled to announce that Joe Tarantino, CPA has joined the firm’s California Government & Education practice as a Senior Manager effective October 1, 2023.
Mr. Tarantino has worked in California education finance since 2008, first as a public accountant performing audits of school districts, and then for 12 years in various business office capacities for two preeminent California school districts. In his most recent position as Assistant Director of Finance at 33K ADA Poway Unified School District, he was in charge of budget development, interim reporting, and audit planning, among other responsibilities. Mr. Tarantino joins familiar faces at CWDL, having worked with many of the firm’s team members during his public accounting career. As a Senior Manager at CWDL, he will be responsible for coordinating and managing governmental audits for the California office, serve as a member of the quality control committee, and help expand the business.
